Adding Google Custom search for your blog

Go to http://www.google.com/cse/?v
Click on "Create a custom search Engine"
Fill the form as follows>>

Basic information
Search engine name:your blog name (Demo 4 Blogger)
Search engine description: add your blog title(Blogger tutorial for learners)
Search engine language: English(if your blog in other language select the language)
What do you want to search?
Sites to search:Your blog url (http://demo4blogger.blogspot.com/)
Select an edition
Select Standard edition - Free, ads are required on results pages.
Check "Terms Of Service"
click on "Next"

Click "Finish"

You will see the following image.


Click on "Control Panel"


Click on all "Save changes"
Right side of this page you will see "Get Code" Link as follows.


Copy the code and go to "Layout" >>"Add widget">>Html/javascript>>add title as "Search" copy the code to the "content" save you can place anywhere of this widget by drag and drop.

Congratulations you have successfully added google custom search for your blog.

Note:-Your custom search shows results only if your blog/website is added to google search engine.Add your blog to google search here.Then try your blog name in google search when google shows your blog then your custom search works.
ex:-search for "http://b-blogspotblogging.blogspot.com/" if this blog appears in google.com then the custom search of http://b-blogspotblogging.blogspot.com works.
